Let you introduce yourself?
I’m Yoan Jung, you can call me John. I am a professional with 20 years of experience in the capital market. I started my career and worked at NH Investment and Securities Co., Ltd. Korea which is one of the best securities companies in Korea and has served in various fields and positions there. After developing my career at NH Investment and Securities Co., Ltd Korea, I was entrusted to become Chief Financial Officer at NH Investment and Securities Co., Ltd in Hong Kong. With the various experiences that I have had, I was appointed by the stake holder to lead NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia as President Director.
What areas of Capital market interest you most?
As a President Director, I am trying to figure out how to develop the retail market in Indonesia using multi-platforms including digital technology, as well as to enhance role of investment bank in emerging market like Indonesia as an investment service provider.
On a firmwide level, what do you think NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia is doing to ensure a culture of long-term success?
I believe retaining concrete relationship with clients based on mutual trust is most important factor for sustainable growth of our company. Mutual trust can be achieved only if every staff of our company have ‘client-first’ spirit and strive to have best-in-class knowledge and insights on Capital market. And to support all of those, we’re continuously developing our Information and Technology System.
How have your experiences and education prepared you for this role?
I believe the various experiences and positions that I have held at NH Investment and Securities Co., Ltd can be the basis for leading NH Korindo Sekuritas Indonesia, strengthened by my experience working in Korea and Hong Kong can provide new insights and ideas for the Indonesian capital market. I completed my bachelor degree at Chung Ang University with a major in Economics and my master’s degree at the Korean National Open University with a major in Management.
