US stock markets closed mixed on (22/11) trading; as S&P 500 and Nasdaq weakened, while Dow Jones slightly up. President Joe Biden announced the nomination of Jerome Powell as the chairman of Federal Reserve for his second term. The US 10-year treasury jumped after the news, to reach above the 1.6% level.
The JCI once again successfully record a new all-time high record after a slight gain of 0.05% at the beginning of the week. Amidst lack of new domestic sentiments, the healthcare sector led the market to strengthen with a 1.35% gain. As for today, the benchmark index still has potentials to continue its uptrend with projected movement range between 6,690 – 6,800.
