Highlights of February’s Official Reserve Assets
Indonesia’s official reserve assets of February 2019 settled higher at USD123.3 billion, much higher than that of USD120.1 billion in January. The issuance of global sukuk and oil& gas incomes were catalysts for creeping-higher reserve assets of February.

 

Debt Proportion to Dominate
In February 21st, 2019, the Indonesia government secured the proceeds from the issued global sukuk worth USD2 billion consisting of the green sukuk of USD750 million and the regular sukuk of USD1.25 billion. Another to the proceeds from the sukuk issuance, incomes from oil& gas incomes and others only amounted to USD1.2 billion. Based on the aforementioned proportion, we discern that the debt proportion to February’s reserve assets still dominated.
