JCI continued to rally, backed by the banking sector. JCI’s Top Gainers: Misc. Ind. (+2.6%), Finance (+1.1%), Basic Ind. (+0.7%).

INNI index dipped as ANTM slipped by 2.3%. Investors started to divest of their safe-haven assets because the US-China’s first phase trade deals are about to be signed.

Daily Foreign & Domestic Sector Movement
JCI recorded foreign inflows of IDR966 billion as investors whetted for banking stocks and overlooked Fitch Rating’s negative outlook for Indonesian banks. The negative outlook is attributable to soaring NPL of BUKU IV banks, tighter funding liquidity, corporate actions executed in a prompt timeframe.

The rupiah exchange rate for USD, meanwhile, dropped little at 0.05% to 13,680.
