Government Bond Highlights
Indonesia Composite Bond Index (ICBI) closed slightly higher by 0.17% to 240.90. The higher price of the government bonds (SUN) was not in line with corrections in other emerging ‘s economies bonds. The most robust series were FR0064 with the 10-year tenor as its yields decreased to 7.94%. SUN’s last-week appreciation narrowed the spread between SUN with 10-year tenor and the U.S. Treasury. The last-week rally in bonds markets were followed by the rally in equity markets and money markets.
