FR0083 posted a decrease in yield of almost 15 bps to the level of 6.63%. Meanwhile, investors were less interested in short tenors with FR0081 and FR0086 recording increases in yields of 7.5 bps and 3 bps. The commitment of Bank Indonesia (BI) to maintain a low interest rate trend has prompted market players to return to interest in long tenors. Based on a Bloomberg survey, the BI 7-DRRR for the December 2020 period is projected to remain at the level of 3.75%. The results of the BI Board of Governors Meeting (RDG) which will take place on 16-17 December 2020 will provide an overview of the domestic economic recovery in early 2021. Yesterday’s market movement was also amidst positive sentiment for a trade balance surplus in November 2020. In addition to rising commodity prices, demand from partner countries trade has the opportunity to again support Indonesia’s exports.
