The JCI closed Friday’s trading session down 1.88% at 6,196.43. The IHSG correction was driven by concerns over benchmark crude oil prices returning toward USD100 per barrel. However, after Friday’s market close in Indonesia, oil prices declined again after nearly reaching that psychological resistance level.

The JCI closed Thursday's trading session down 0.3% at 6,315.31. The JCI briefly tested the 6,400 resistance level during the first session before reversing lower in the second session amid profit-taking. The decline was further exacerbated by renewed concerns as benchmark crude oil prices climbed back toward USD 100 per barrel.

The JCI closed relatively flat on Wednesday, declining 0.09% to 6,334.48. Foreign investors recorded net selling of IDR1.1 trillion during Wednesday’s trading session. The JCI fell sharply during the first session but rebounded in the second session following the announcement that Bank Indonesia (BI) maintained its benchmark interest rate. The next resistance level for the JCI is at 6,400.

The JCI closed higher on Monday, gaining +0.91% to 6,231.78. Foreign investors recorded a net foreign buy of IDR 156.6 billion in the JCI, marking the second consecutive day of net inflows following Friday’s session. The JCI is currently facing resistance at the 6,240 level, with potential for a retest of the base support area, while the 6,000 level remains a psychologicalsupport level.
